摘要

PURPOSE:To easily and surely eliminate short-circuiting between counter electrodes by supplying a prescribed voltage between said electrodes and removing the material short circuiting between the electrodes. CONSTITUTION:The voltage corresponding to the electric charge accumulated to a capacitor 2 is impressed between the confronted upper electrode 100 and lower electrode 200 of a liquid crystal panel 4 when a selector switch 3 is changed over to a contact B side. The conductive material and semiconductive material which exist in the panel 4 and short circuit the electrodes 100, 200 or the electrodes 100 and 200 are melted by resistance heating, by which said materials are easily and surely removed. As a result, the insulating characteristic of the electrode is restored and the liquid crystal panel which can make high- quality display is obtd.
