Liquid metal supply nozzle for a continuous casting ingot mould, including a refractory tube (4), characterised in that it comprises an outer tube (5) surrounding the abovementioned tube (4) and extending downwards beyond a horizontal closure base (6) of the latter, delimiting with this base an annular passage (8), in that orifices (7) are provided in the lower end of the said tube in order to permit flowing of the liquid metal (M) via these orifices into the annular space (9) between the two tubes, then via the said annular passage (8) into the ingot mould, and in that the said annular space (9) is connected to means (16) for creating a partial vacuum in this space in order to degas the liquid metal (M) as it flows into the annular space between the two tubes. This device permits degassing of the liquid metal immediately before its solidification. <IMAGE>
