PURPOSE:To heighten responsiveness to the release force of a locking device while enlarging the set load of a power accumulating member by forming a driving member in such a way that its wire winding radius is decreased from a wire winding starting point toward a wire winding terminating point. CONSTITUTION:The rotational torque of a drive pulley 18 is generated by the accumulated power energy of a flat spiral spring 21. Since the wire winding radius (r) of the drive pulley 18 is decreased from a wire winding starting point toward a wire winding terminating point, the traction force of the drive pulley 18 to a wire 7 is increased with the advance of the wire 7 thereby becomes the smallest at the rotation starting time, that is, when a rotary latch 33 is held into an illustrated operating position by a lock lever 34, so that load applied to the lock lever 34 from the rotary latch 33 by the traction force of the wire 7 can be suppressed to a comparatively small degree, and frictional resistance around the pivot 45 of a roller 48 can be made lower than the specified value. |
