The invention relates to a device making it possible to catch the faeces from an animal before the faeces reach the ground. It comprises a flat bag (20) with two faces (21) and (23). Each of these two faces includes, in the high part, a slot (22) of a variable length. Above these two slots (22) a perforation (24) will be formed. That being so, the bag (20) can then receive, either through the face (21) or the face (23), the loop (2) through the slot (22) and likewise for the stud (3) which will be received through the perforation (24). <IMAGE>
