PURPOSE:To reinforce a product and fully enhance its rigidity by a method wherein reinforcing fibers are mixed with molten resin, which is extruded from a screw-type extruder and a parison molder, which molds the resultant fiber- mixed resin material, is equipped with a blow former. CONSTITUTION:Only resin pellets (a) are charged in the hopper 2 of an extruder 1. On the other hand, in the cylinder 12 of a mixing means 11, reinforcing fibers (b), which is cut in lengths as chopped strands, are filled through a feed pipe 15. By actuating a hydraulic actuator 14 while the screw 3 of the extruder 1 is kept on rotating, the reinforcing fibers (b) are mixed with molten resin, which is extruded from the extruder 1. In this case, the actuating speed of the hydraulic actuator 14 is regulated so as to bring the content of the reinforcing fiber (b) to the desired value. Thus, the molten resin, with which the reinforcing fibers (b) are mixed, is fed to a parison molder 6. |
