The invention relates to a cutting-out knife with a retractable blade used particularly in the field of stationery (paper goods), consisting of an external body (1), of a block (4) and of a device (2) for actuating the blade/block. The actuating device comprises a spring (3) and a pin (6) which can slide in the cylindrical recess (8) of the external body (1) and is secured to an extension (5) which is flexible in a direction approximately perpendicular to the pin (6) and equipped with lateral studs (26). The external body (1) is equipped with a slit allowing the sliding of the actuating device (2) and having two notches capable of receiving the lateral studs (26) of the said flexible extension (5). The blade/block (4) may additionally be removable. <IMAGE>
