<p>PURPOSE:To stably move an elevator cage up and down by vertically arranging a guide rail having a flat cross-sectional section for guiding a counterweight and the rear part of the cage. CONSTITUTION:When a cage 30 is moved up or down, since a guide rail 50 guides and holds not only both lift cable 40 and safety cable 41 but also the rear part of a cage elevating frame 31 in the guide section of the lift cable 40 which is stretched under tension, oscillation is prevented as a whole, and accordingly, the cage 30 can be stably moved up and down. Further, a counterweight 43 associated with the elevation of the cage 30 is guided with its support frame 44 by the guide rail 50, and accordingly, no oscillation occurs. Thus, no oscillation is transmitted from the counterweight 43 to the lift cable 40, it is possible to stably elevate the cage even though the rope guide section is too long.</p> |
