In a small size mowing machine for harvest, to move the said mowing mnachine forward, rotational force is conveyed to a lower shaft (22) through a reduction sear shaft (11) connected to the prime mover shaft (4). A clutch (14), connected to a bevel gear and clutch lever (18), is controled by a clutch handle (17). A cutter (7) and an upper blade (8) are fixed to a fixing plate (6) transmitting rotational motion from the prime mover shaft. A rotary drum (24), to orderly transfer plants cutted, includes discharge pin (29), discharge pin guiding pipe (27), discharge pin roller (28) and cam plate (26), and transmits power by a mechanism of chain and sprocket. A direction controller controls the feeding direction of the plants cutted.
