The vacuum blood collection tube is composed of polyethylene terephthalate copolymer obtained by copolymerizing polyethylene terephthalate with 1,2-benzene dicarboxylic acid, 1,3-benzene dicarboxylid acid and/or its derivative. The collection tube has an improved transparency and a good blood- compatibility, and is used in the collection of the blood sample and the separation of the blood.
