<p>PURPOSE:To enable the easy production of printing raw fabric for cloth tape having a design or the like printed thereon by melting and extruding a polyethylene resin on at least one side of a stock cloth at a specific temperature to laminate a polyethylene film thereon and forming a printing layer on the surface of the polyethylene film. CONSTITUTION:A stock cloth 1 is coated with an anchor coating agent, if desired, and dried. The surface of the stock cloth is subjected to the melting extrusion comprising a polyethylene resin heated and molten at 320 to 330 deg.C and a polyethylene film 2 is formed. The surface of the polyethylene film 2 is printed with 2-part liquid hardening type ink comprising vinyl chloride urethane to form a printing layer 3 and obtain a raw fabric for cloth tape 5. At the temperature of 320 to 330 deg.C wherein the polyethylene resin is molten, the surface of polyethylene resin is oxidized, having a carbonyl group formed thereon. This carbonyl group participates in the adhesion between stock cloth and resin, providing a suitable force to put the stock cloth and the resin together.</p> |
