PURPOSE:To increase a critical current without giving a hindrance on the stream of a superconducting current by a method wherein each edge face in axial direction of unit conductive members is superconductively joined together, and they are formed in coil-like shape. CONSTITUTION:A plurality of rubber molding frames, with which unit helical rings 10 can be formed, are manufactured, and after the material which is formed by adding acrylic binder into Y1Ba2Cu3O7-x oxide superconducting powder, has been filled in the above-mentioned rubber molding frame, the material is molded by applying hydrostatic press, the rubber molding frame is removed by cutting, and a plurality of molded bodies are obtained. Then, these molded bodies are placed in a calcinating overn, calcinated in an oxygen atmosphere, and a plurality of unit helical rings 10 are obtained. The unit helical rings 10 obtained as above are stacked successively, Ag paste is applied between the upper surface 12 and the lower surface 11 which are brought into contact with each other, superconducting paste, which is mainly composed of Y1Ba2Cu3 O7-x, superconducting powder, is applied between the first edge face and the second edge face, they are put in the calcinating oven, calcinated in an oxygen atmosphere, and a superconducting coil is obtained. |
