Two-element roller skate device for moving individually over any surface which is suitable for motor vehicles. The invention relates to a device composed of two elements to be worn on the feet, equipped with two wheels arranged so as to obtain great stability, by virtue of a wheelbase (1) which is greater than the length of the foot increased by two wheel radii and by virtue of the short distance between the foot and the ground (2). Each element is equipped with a braking device controlled by the rocking (5) of the person's foot about the axis (6). An optional steering system operates by lateral pressure of the heels, giving rise to a rotation of the rear wheel about the axis (7); the principle of the axles pivoting by inclination may also be used. The structure of the element advantageously permits the insertion of the foot via the rear and holding of the ankle (10). The elements include a suspension, preferably by means of elastic flexing of the chassis (11), a disengageable anti-backslip device, a carrying handle (12), an integral anti-theft device and a mudguard (anti-splash structure) (13). The invention relates to the two rolling elements and a complementary portable sail permitting propulsion using the wind. The device according to the invention is intended particularly for participating in leisure or competitive sports and for short tourist-type, domestic or professional journeys. <IMAGE>
