The invention relates to an autotransfusion bag (12) comprising several lateral walls (16-21), an upper wall (15) and a lower wall (14), the said lateral, upper and lower walls being made of a flexible material, rigid panels (16-19) fixed to the said lateral walls, spacing means (29) engaging with the said rigid panels in order to hold the said lateral walls in the spaced-apart state, and a single connection means (22) forming a passage in an end wall of the said autotransfusion bag, the passage of the single connection means forming an air flow path towards an aspiration source, starting from the autotransfusion bag, a blood path between the patient and the autotransfusion bag, and an outlet blood path for reinfusion of this blood to a patient starting from the autotransfusion bag, withdrawn from the bag in such a way that, when the blood is reinfused in the patient, via the same passage through which the blood had been conveyed to the autotransfusion device, the bag subsides without any air penetrating into the autotransfusion bag. <IMAGE> |
