PURPOSE:To achieve miniaturization, lightweight, and improvement of color tone, by a method wherein ink near an opening part of a material containing ink is liquidized by heating and, is charged by electricity, and is discharged from the opening part by electrostatic force owing to electric field. CONSTITUTION:An opening part 5 of a slit state is so formed as to narrow a top part of a material 1 containing ink down inside, and a thermal head array 9 touching the ink 2 via a heat resistant protection layer 8 is buried in an under plate 4 near the opening part 5. The thermal head array 9 generates heat instantly when a driver circuit 10 is energized, and the ink 2 is liquidized. Further, a DC power source 15 is connected to an electrostatic suction electrode 14 provided along an extending direction of the opening part 5, and a high electric field is formed between it and a needle electrode 11 in the opening part 5. The liquid ink 16 charged to high degree thereby in the opening part 5 is discharged into a space owing to high electric field. When this flying ink is fixed to a recording part 17 to be sent in contact with the electrostatic suction electrode 14, an image corresponding to an image signal can be recorded. |
