<p>PURPOSE:To simplify measurement by fabricating the sample receiver of a fraction collector into a plate- or cup-shaped body for preparing a sample for infrared absorption spectre measurement, and taking part of the sample on the sample receiver, and subjecting the sample directly to natural drying process so as to prepare the same. CONSTITUTION:Part of a solution of organic materials is taken on a sample receiver 2 using a liquid chromatograph and a fraction collector 21. The sample receiver 2 is fabricated into the shape of a plate or cup from an infrared transmitting material or metal material. Then the sample receiver 2 is introduced into an infrared light passage and the organic materials in the sample receiver are measured by an infrared spectrophotometer. A sample for measuring an infrared absorption spectre can be automatically prepared for each component of the mixed organic material by the above method.</p> |
