The invention concerns an industrial method for partial coating of sheets 15, 16 with an outer film 17. The method is especially designed for use in coating of profiled construction panels with a condensation preventing film. During this coating process, an edge zone 16a along one side of the panel extending perpendicular to the profiling of the panel is kept free of the coating. In the method, the coating film is supplied in the form of a band, and the band is made to stick to the sheets by placing an adhesive between the sheets and the band. The coating-free edge zone is obtained by making the sheets overlap each other when the band is applied. After applying the band, the sheets are separated from each other by taking apart the overlapping pieces, so that the band gives way at the overlap. The separation can be done in such a way that the bursting starts at one side of the band and continues successively to the opposite side of the band. <IMAGE> |
