PURPOSE:To print out printed data in a distinct and easily visible state being free from a color mixture by providing a stopping means for stopping the output of the printed data for a prescribed time in accordance with a developing device switching timing. CONSTITUTION:The title device is provided with plural developing devices 4, 5 for containing developers of different colors, a developing device switching driving means for switching and driving selectively plural developing devices 4, 5, based on developing device switching position data sent from a host device, and a stopping means for stopping the output of printed data for a prescribed time in accordance with a developing device switching timing set by the developing device switching position data. In such a way, the output of the printed data is stopped for a prescribed time corresponding to a color mixture image area generated at the time of switching the developing device, and its output is postponed so that image data of a color data is not printed. |
