PURPOSE:To surely detect even a muting operation related to any sound pitch by instructing to turn out a sound by making a detecting condition less severe with respect to a detecting means for detecting a fact that a peak value of a waveform signal corresponding to a string vibration is attenuated above a prescribed level, when an open string sound pitch of a string is a sound pitch being higher by one octave. CONSTITUTION:Whether a pitch which is extracted by a pitch extracting means PD is a roughly one octave sound pitch of an open string sound pitch of a string or not is decided by a deciding means MCP, and this musical instrument is provided with a condition changing means MCP for making a detecting condition less severe with respect to a detecting means for detecting a fact that a peak value of a waveform signal is attenuated above a prescribed level, when the sound pitch is higher by roughly one octave and instructing to turn out a sound by detecting a small attenuation ratio. In such a way, even when a muting operation is executed by a one octave sound pitch of an open string sound pitch by which a string vibration is continued long, an instruction to turn out a sound can be executed surely to a sound source means. |
