PURPOSE:To prevent deterioration of the degree of whiteness caused during the manufacture of a thermal recording sheet and thereby make available a thermal recording sheet with a high degree of whiteness by adding polyoxyethylenealkylether to a thermal color layer. CONSTITUTION:A thermal recording sheet consists of a thermal coloring layer containing a developer which causes a colorless or pale coloring material to color through chemical reaction when heating it with aid material. Polyoxyethylenealkylether is added to said coloring layer. This material is blended with a coloring material at a ratio of 0.5 to 1 part for 100 as a recommended blend. If the blending rate of polyoxyethylene ether is 0.5 part or less, no whiteness improvement effect can be expected, and if the rate is 1 part or more, the thermal sensitivity becomes low. |
