PURPOSE:To simplify the registration of the address of a remote control transmitter for an adapter by validating an address registration request bit, transmitting its own address code from the transmitter, and permitting the adapter to receive a radio signal and to register the address code. CONSTITUTION:When the address registration request bit of the radio signal from the remote control transmitter 10 is effective, the adapter 20 considers that the wireless remote control transmitter 10 requests address registration, fetches the address code which the radio signal has and registers it as the address of the wireless remote control transmitter 10. Thus, the address is registered in the adapter 20 by transmitting the address code which is set in the remote control transmitter 10 to the adapter of the signal having the address code. Thus, the address can extremely easily be set.
