PURPOSE:To obtain a recording medium capable of recording electrostatic information as visible information with high sensitivity and hardly generating noise at the time of reproduction by laminating a thermoplastic resin layer on a photoconductive layer with a dielectric mirror layer in-between. CONSTITUTION:A photoconductive layer 14, a dielectric mirror layer 12 and a thermoplastic resin layer 11 are laminated on an electrode layer 13 to obtain an information recording medium 3. Since the mirror layer 12 is interposed between the photoconductive layer 14 and the resin layer 11, a high contrast and high quality visible image having high sensitivity is formed and accurate readout is enabled over a wide wavelength range. Though the conventional medium obtd. by laminating a thermoplastic resin layer on a photoconductive layer enables readout at the sacrifice of the light absorbing performance of a photosensitive body, the medium 3 of this invention can impart satisfactory light absorbing performance to the photoconductive layer and can record a frost image having high sensitivity. |
