The electrical connector uses a spiral wound electrical lead (15) extending between an external adaptor (17) fitted through the base of a stationary cylindrical housing part and an inner adapter (18) fitting through the base of a relatively rotatably housing part. Each adapter (17.18) is received by an opening provided in the sidewalls of the respective housing part via a projection around the outside of the adapter (17,18) fitting onto a corresponding reception groove around the edge of the opening. ADVANTAGE - Allows use of pre-assembled unit.
