The stack of parallel circuit boards are separated by insulating layers and held in a rectangular housing (2). Slots in the housing enable contact strips to be inserted and attachments to be fitted. The side of the housing has additional boards with links for the separate circuits and connections for cable looms. The fuses, relays etc. are plug mounted onto the housing. The top board provides a connection for the side boards and links (23) connect betweeb the layers. The central control can be fitted to a microprocessor to monitor the entire system.
