Tandem axle arrangement for timber vehicle - has drive system with space saving reduction gear

The tandem axle system is for a timber hauling vehicle. There is a planetary drive (14) used as a reduction gear for each wheel (7). The sun wheel (15) of each planetary drive is driven by gears (11,10,9,8) arranged one behind the other along the length of the wing, which is connected to the axle shaft (3). USE/ADVANTAGE - Axle arrangement giving max. drive moment when the vehicle is fully laden, and also having a narrow track width.
