The fixing frame prevents the deformation of shadow mask caused by cooling contraction. The frame includes a rim (24) on which saliences are formed, a shadow mask pressing rim having saliences matched with the saliences of the rim (24) to fix the shadow mask (s), an inserting grooving (28) formed through the inner surface of an oval outer frame (22), a coupler (29a) inserted to the grooving and elastic material (29) for sticking the shadow mask pressing rim (26) to the rim (24).
