PURPOSE:To effectively sense an abnormal state without disturbing a normal operation of a high voltage generating component by providing a nonmetallic sensing component for sensing the abnormal state of the component in or near the component. CONSTITUTION:A flyback transformer 25 becomes abnormal to generate heat. Then, an optical fiber cable 29 is melted to be deformed or cut by the generated abnormal heat. Thus, a sensing transistor 34 is turned OFF, a power source voltage +B is input to an X-ray protector input terminal 43a of a deflecting processor 43, its horizontal oscillation is stopped by an X-ray protector 40, and a high voltage generation is immediately stopped. |
