PURPOSE:To obtain a raw material of low loss Mn-Zn ferrite which may remarkably reduce a loss by additionally mixing a specified compound to the specified basic element. CONSTITUTION:A mixing rate of basic element is Fe2O3: 52 to 54.5mol%; MnO: 33 to 40mol% and ZnO: 6 to 13mol%. Moreover, SiO2: 0.008 to 0.040wt.%, Ca compound (in terms of CaO): 0.02 to 0.20 wt.%, niobium oxide: 0.01 to 0.08 wt.%, organic substance including chlorine (in terms of chlorine ion): 0.01 to 0.30wt.% are mixed to the main element. After element powder raw materials are mixed, culcinated and ground so that a particular composition can be obtained, a compressed mold is sintered. In this case, the chlorine ion is added in the specified amount at the time of mixing and/or grinding of the raw materials. Thereby, a ferrite showing an excellent low loss of iron as low as 300mW/cm<2> or less can be obtained under the condition of 100kHz 200mT, 80 to 100 deg.C. |
