PURPOSE:To improve an execution speed without increasing the capacity of a ROM by controlling the execution of a subroutine based upon a subroutine table formed based upon the sort of a peripheral machine and a pointer. CONSTITUTION:Peripheral machine information is arranged as a 2-byte area before the leading address of a subroutine in a ROM and respective peripheral machines are allowed to correspond to respective bits. The peripheral machine information is compared with peripheral machine connecting data, and when a bit corresponding to the setting of a peripheral machine is '1' the leading address of the subroutine is stored in the subroutine table of a RAM 102 to form the subroutine table arraying the leading addresses of subroutines to be executed in the RAM 102. When copying start command is inputted and copying operation is started, the subroutines stored in a ROM 101 are successively executed based upon the subroutine table formed in the RAM 102 to execute copying processing. |
