摘要 PURPOSE:To prevent image blurring from occurring and to reduce a time required for the come-and-go of an optical system by setting the value of a current limiter at the time of controlling the going of the optical system smaller than that at the time of controlling the coming of the optical system by a current limiter value changing means. CONSTITUTION:The rate of change of a transient current at the time of starting the scanning of the optical systems 3-8 is changed in accordance with the set value of the current limiter 22 for an optical system driving motor M. Since a high current flows when the set value is large, the amplitude of overshoot is large, and variation is restrained when the set value is small. Therefore, the value of the limiter 22 for the motor is switched in a scanning direction and the value of the limiter 22 is set small in an exposing direction, that is, a going direction so as to restrain the variation of voltage by a damping effect. Meanwhile, in the case of controlling the coming thereof, the value of the limiter 22 is set large so as to make rise sharp to obtain strong acceleration. Thus, the image blurring is prevented from occurring and the time required for the come-and-go of the optical system is reduced.
