<p>Compounds of formula (I), in which R1 and R2, which may be the same or different, represent hydrogen or C1-6 alkyl, R3 and R4 independently represent one or more radicals selected from hydrogen, OH, NH2, NO2, halogen, C1-6 alkyl or C1-6 alkoxy and n is an integer from 1-2 inclusive, and pharmaceutically acceptable derivatives thereof are useful as pharmaceuticals; in particular, they possess N-methyl-(d)-aspartate (NMDA) blocking properties and are useful in the treatment and/or prevention of neurodegenerative conditions.</p> |
