PURPOSE:To completely stir developer even by a screw type mixing and stirring member by using resin coated carrier having many pores on its surface. CONSTITUTION:The two-component developer used in a developing device 1A is constituted of the resin coated magnetic carrier 21 and toner 25. The carrier 21 is constituted of a carrier core material 22 and a resin coating layer 23, and the pores 24 are formed on the surface of the layer 23. Then, the two- component developer in the device 1A circulates in a direction shown by an arrow without getting over a partitioning wall 4, while the carrier 21 and the toner 25 are mixed and stirred, the lump of the toner is crushed and the toner 25 is stuck to the carrier 21 because it is triboelectrified with the carrier 21. Meanwhile, a developing sleeve 51 carries the carrier 21 to which the toner 25 is stuck by the action of a magnet body 52 on an inner side to a developing area while holding it in a napping state. |
