<p>Collection units for depositing refuse material (19a) are provided for the public in a manner known per se, said units having means of access in the form of an opening (4a). According to the invention, said units are provided with: (a) means (4a, 25, 26, 27, 28) for identifying, at least roughly, a refuse article placed by, or introduced into said opening; (b) means (24) for conveying the refuse article beyond the opening and (c) means (33) for issuing proof of deposit (22a), such as a gift voucher, controlled by said identification means optionally combined with said conveying means.</p> |
