PURPOSE:To improve transfer characteristics by providing element pieces, which generate pushing magnetic pole assisting the transfer of magnetic bubbles, at minus 180 deg. corners. CONSTITUTION:Near the part (a) of an element piece 21 constituting some of a minus 180 deg. corner, an element piece 31 in asymmetric chevron pattern is provided which generates a pushing magnetic pole for assisting the transfer of a magnetic bubble Ba on the element piece 21 to an element piece 22. Near the part (b) of the element 21 constituting the other part of the minus 180 deg. corner, an element piece 32 in asymmetric pattern is provided which generates a pushing magnetic pole for assisting the transfer of a magnetic bubble Bb on the element 22 to an element 1. In this case, those element pieces 31 and 32 are made of thin films of soft ferromagnetic materials, such as permalloy, on the same surface with the element pieces 1, 21 and 22 forming a closed-loop trasfer path 2. |
