<p>A propeller system for an outboard motor, comprising a revised propeller (9), a symmetrical Kort accelerating nozzle (6), and re-routed exhaust passages (B), (C), is described. This system permits modification of a standard outboard motor intended for use at high speed with a planing type hull to make it applicable at slow speed to a sailboat immersion type hull. The motor fuel consumption may also be improved.</p> |
