PURPOSE:To execute an image forming process at a correct position on a rolled up sensitizing paper regardless of more or less deviation of a paper feeding position by providing a means detecting the position of a rotary body, on the leading edge of the above-mentioned rolled up sensitizing paper. CONSTITUTION:When a copy start key arranged on a front panel 21 is operated, the leading edge of the sensitizing paper 1 is rolled up on an exposing drum 8, and detected by a rolling up position sensor 101, and a signal is transmitted to a CPU 20. The CPU 20 calculates the timing of electrification, exposure, development, etc., through the use of this signal as a reference, and executes an image forming process. In other word, the paper 1 is electrified by an electrifier 9, exposed by an exposing device 10, to form an electrostatic latent image, and developed by a developing unit 11, and a residual charge is removed by a destaticizing unit 12 to form an image on the paper 1. The paper 1 on which the image is formed is ejected outside a housing 3 by a paper ejecting belt 15, and a paper ejecting tray 16. |
