<p>A tumble-drier of the type with a rotary drum includes a filter element (18) situated in a seat (16) in the loading door (10) of the drier. The drier has an electrical control switch (22) which enables the drier to be switched on when the door (10) is closed and the filter element (18) is inserted in its seat (16). The switch (22) is operated by an operating member (30) mounted for sliding relative to the door (10) and connected to the seat (16) of the filter element (18) by a transmission mechanism (34, 38) which is adapted to keep the operating member (30) in an extended, operative position when the filter element (18) is inserted in its seat (16).</p> |
