PURPOSE:To obtain large braking force and small construction and increase durability of the mechanism by fitting a shaft rotatably inside one of the frictional member and pressing the other set of a frictional member against the external surface of the shaft by pressure by means of a pressing means to brake the shaft rotation by frictional force generated between the set of frictional member and the shaft. CONSTITUTION:A frictional plate 8 is pressed in the direction of arrow F by means of a spring 9 to contact the plate on the external surface of a rotational shaft 6. Also, a press material 7 is pressed in the direction reverse to arrow F by means of the spring 9 through a spacer 10 to contact the bent portion at the right end of the press material 7 on the external surface of the rotational shaft 6. Accordingly, rotation of the rotational shaft 6 is braked by frictional force generated between the press material 7 and the frictional force 8, pressed against the external surface of the rotational shaft 6, and the rotational shaft 6. Thus large braking force and a small shaft braking mechanism can be obtained and durability of the mechanism can be increased. |
