PURPOSE:To efficiently mass-produce a molded body made of a ceramic green sheet which is free from unevenness of dimension and the characteristics by arranging wires in order to cut the long-sized ceramic green sheet in the direction orthogonal to the carrying direction and in the lengthwise direction. CONSTITUTION:A long-sized ceramic green sheet 11 is carried in the direction C for a cutter. A first wire 12 which turns between rollers 13a - 13c is arranged in the midway part of a route. The sheet 11 is cut by vertically moving the wire 12. Further a second wires 14 - 16 laid between the rollers 17a - 17d are arranged to the downstream side from the wire 12. Thereby the sheet 11 is cut along the carrying direction thereof. Further the second wires 14 - 16 are arranged in the vicinities of both side edges of the sheet 11 to cut and remove the parts 11c, 11d in the vicinities of the same. Thereby the molded bodies 11a, 11b made of ceramic green sheet can be obtained which is little in an unevenness of density. |
