MEDICAL PANORAMA X-RAY IMAGING APPARATUS

PURPOSE:To systematize the change-over of various imaging modes to markedly reduce complicatedness and to enhance imaging accuracy by adding an imaging mode selection means of a jaw joint or nose and ears region to a dental panorama imaging apparatus and automatically setting X-ray emitting timing or the moving timing of an X-ray film. CONSTITUTION:A distance measuring sensor 81 is mounted to the main body 1 of a panorama X-ray imaging apparatus at the position on the median line of a patient of the main body 1. The sensor 81 detects the relative position of the foretooth part of the dental arch T of the patient with respect to the main body 1 of the panorama X-ray imaging apparatus to compare the same with the relative position data of the slice region of a slice forming mechanism 2 while the slice forming mechanism 2 is moved before and behind by a moving mechanism 7 to perform the positioning of the patient. When the command input keyboard of an imaging mode selection means 4 (41) is selected, the selection mode data thereof is inputted to a microprocessor 56 and the X-ray emitting timing and X-ray film moving pattern corresponding to the selected imaging mode are determined by an X-ray emitting timing determination means 5 and an X-ray film moving pattern determination means 6 to perform desired X-ray curved surface tomographic imaging.
