A seal for a door of a vehicle comprises a frame member 10 formed of a resin extending along a lengthwise direction of a body flange to grip the flange in the frame member, an additional layer 15 formed of co-extrudable material with said frame member and laid on a surface of the frame member at a position which is exposed to the outside, and a sealing member 20 adhered to the surface thereof to contact the door system for establishing a sealing between the body flange and the door system. An edge line B of the sealing member lies on the additional layer 15 and the sealing member is colored the same as the layer to enhance an outer appearance of the edge line. The edge line A of the additional layer is thus perceived as the edge of the seal and is less likely to be wrinkled. The additional layer 15 may be co-extruded with the frame member 10, and the sealing member 2a adhered to the additional layer. <IMAGE> |
