PURPOSE:To prevent decrease of driving power so as to improve drivability by setting a threshold value of a throttle opening smaller than that of switching speed reduction ratio larger for a predetermined time by a predetermined value, after switching the reduction ratio smaller and setting a threshold value of a car speed larger by a predetermined value. CONSTITUTION:After speed reduction ratio is switched smaller, a threshold value of a throttle valve opening is set smaller than that, in the case of switching the speed reduction reduction ratio larger for a predetermined time, by a predetermined value, and a threshold value of a car speed is set larger. Accordingly, after a shiftup so that speed reduction ratio is decreased by undesired return operation of an accelerator pedal by a driver, a threshold value of switching the speed reduction ratio larger in a predetermined time is set in the vicinity of a threshold value of switching the speed reduction ratio smaller. In this way, the accelerator pedal 5 is reset to a condition before the return operation relating to switching of the reduction ratio for the undesired return operation, so that the pedal can be reset to the condition before the return operation by quickly increasing the speed reduction ratio. |
