VENTILATING ROOF FOR VEHICLES

Ventilating roof for vehicles having a roof cutout which is constructed in the roof skin and can be closed by means of a cover. The cover can be swivelled into a ventilation position by swivelling about a swivel axis located near to its rear edge, in which position the front edge of the cover is located below the roof skin while the rear edge of the cover is held at the level of the roof skin and a ventilation gap is formed between the front edge of the cover and the front edge of the roof cutout. In a ventilation channel leading from the ventilation gap into the passenger compartment of the vehicle there is at least one electromotively driven blower installed.
