PURPOSE:To reduce the number of toner sensors for use by carrying out agitation of developer only for the time corresponding to copying paper size specified by a size specifying means and to specified number of copied pieces by a copy number specifying means after developing operation is stopped. CONSTITUTION:The size specifying means 5 specifying the size of the copying paper on which image formation is carried out and the copy number specifying means 6 specifying the number of copying papers where continuous image formation is carried out are provided. Then, after the developing operation of a developer part 3 is stopped, agitation of the developer 2 is carried out only for the time set beforehand corresponding to the copying paper size specified by the size specifying means 5 and the number of copied pieces corresponding to the copy number specifying means. Therefore, the state of unevenness in toner concentration can be solved. Thus, a multiple number of toner sensors 37 is not needed and the cost can be reduced. |
