PURPOSE:To obtain the toner capable of forming a durable good copy image by incorporating ultrafine hard particles to a low molecular weight polyolefin and specifying the maximum diameter in the longer axis direction of an insular part, the distance between each 2 of the islands and the ratio of the areas of the islands to the total area of the surface of each toner particle in the releasing agent. CONSTITUTION:The maximum diameter of the insular part in the longer axis direction in the low molecular weight polyolefin releasing agent is 0.1 - 3mum, an average distance between each 2 of the islands in the distribution of the insular parts is 0.2 - 2mum, and the ratio of the total areas of the islands to an optional 1 X 1mum area on the surface of each toner particle is 5 - 60 : 100. The ultrafine inorganic particles harder than the toner binder are added, thus permitting the obtained toner to be restrained from being finely pulverized and prevented from filming to the surface of a photosensitive body. |
