PURPOSE:To enhance pressure fixability by incorporating a specified substance in the core of a microencapsulated toner composed of the core material and the outer shell for covering the core material, and forming the shell made of a substance contg. epoxyurea and epoxyurethane resins. CONSTITUTION:A substance having a glass transition point of -90-+5 deg.C is incorporated in the core material of an encapsulated toner composed of the core material and an outer shell material, and epoxyurea and epoxyurethane resins are incorporated in the shell material. Said substance contained in the core material may be a single substance or composite substances having the glass transition point of the whole system in said range. Said substance for forming the shell material contains the epoxyurea and epoxyurethane resins and these resins may be a 100% polymer or partial polymer. |
