A method and a device for treating electrophoresis supports in which the liquid(s) used for the treatment flow(s) (one after the other) over the electrophoresis support to be treated. The device has a container with inlet and outlet for the liquids used for the treatment. The electrophoresis support to be treated is situated in the part of the container in which flow occurs during treatment.
