PURPOSE:To enable the limiting of a fault point by a method wherein a diagnostic circuit outputs a control signal to select the fault point based on information for the generation of a disturbance and an information processor applies a disturbance detection signal of an integrated circuit to a analysis circuit corresponding to the control signal. CONSTITUTION:A fault information output means of an information processor 1 outputs fault generation information when a fault is detected in the device 1 and a diagnosing device 2 applies a selection control signal to the device 1 to select a fault point based on the information. The device 1 selects a corresponding integrated circuit with a selection circuit 16 to apply a fault detection signal thereof to the device 2. Fault information holding means in respective logic circuits hold fault information with a plurality of FFs and perform a parity checking of output signals of the FFs by a detecting means to output a detection signal when errors are detected. The selection circuit 16 applies detection signals of the detection means as fault detection signals based on a selection control signal and an OR circuit 17 outputs an OR of the detection signals of the detection means as fault generation information. This enables the limiting of a fault point when a fault occurs. |
