PURPOSE:To operate the title relay normally even when an object to be protected is operated intermittently while efficiently executing a performance test by clearing an integrated value up to that time when a voltage value or a current value being preset at a value lower than a setting value and having a reset value or less is detected under the state in which a mode is changed over to a performance test mode. CONSTITUTION:When a control switch 5 is positioned at a closed position, a flag is set during a test because of a performance test mode. An input current value I flowing through a power system 2 is detected by a current transformer 3. The input current value I and a current set value are compared, and the difference section is obtained. When the difference section takes a positive value, values acquired are added successively and an integrated value is calculated. When the difference section takes a negative value, the state of the flag is confirmed during the test, and the difference section is subtracted from the integrated value under the state of reset. When the input current value I is smaller than a reset current value set under the state of set, the integrated value is cleared to 0, and the operating output of the relay outputting an interrupting signal to a circuit breaker is reset. |
