<p>PURPOSE:To control accurately tension by performing estimate operation of tension between stands and also the component of torque due to load from the armature current, terminal voltage and number of revolution of drive motor for roll without use of rolling torque. CONSTITUTION:Because fluctuation of the component of torque due to rolling load is enough slow compared with fluctuation of tension between stands, tension between stands and also the component of torque due to the above load are estimated from armature current, terminal voltage and number of revolution of the drive motor for roll without use of rolling torque. Differentiation of torque arm and number of revolution are included in the arithmetic expression of rolling torque and further the plate thickness on the inlet side, the plate thickness on the outlet side and the opening of roll are included in torque arm, so everything has many errors. Therefore, error at the above operation of torque arm and rolling torque is nothing. Thereby, tension can be accurately operated and tension control can be performed without use of looper.</p> |
