PURPOSE:To prevent explosion of powder due to arc by communicating a clean air supply unit with a housing surrounding a current collector mounted on a truck traveling on a rail associated with a power supply thereby lowering the density of powder. CONSTITUTION:A self-propelled vehicle 20 is mounted on the wheel receiving faces 2 of a pair of parallel rails 1 and guided by a guide board 4, where a driver 29 drives the wheels 22 to run the vehicle 20 along a predetermined route 24. A current collector 38 of the vehicle 20 slides over a power supply 16 on the rail 1 side to receive power and communicate control signals thereby controlling the travel of the vehicle. At this time, an axial fan 46 in a cleaning air supply unit 45 operates to suck the atmospheric air through a filter 48 and then discharge the air through a flexible hose and piping 51 into a housing 43 surrounding the sliding part thus lowering the density of powder in the proximity of the current collector 38. Such system is preferably employed in coarse particulate generating site such as coal mine. |
